Metaverse on GOSH
The growing GOSH Ecosystem now boasts some exciting projects. The main uses of the GOSH blockchain are Software Supply Chain security and decentralized repository management, but beyond just stating it we would like to tell you about the creative applications of this unique technology.
Qubix Infinity
A p2e metaverse developed together with Peter Vesterbacka, the creator of the Angry Birds – Qubix Infinity today boasts over eighteen thousand users. The immersive gameplay and throwback Nintendo-like graphics give it a classic feel, but don’t be fooled - the creators and players of the game all look through their VR glasses to see the future, rather than just settling as a charming retro gaming experience.
What do we mean by this? Well let’s take a closer look. The main game centers around a set of main characters, called Qubixes, who battle in special cosmic stations called ‘Rooms.’ These Rooms can be customized and built from scratch by their owners. Owners can earn commission from each game played in the Room and advertise its NFTs right in the Room with special holograms that are suggested for players to buy after the match.
Qubix Infinity incorporates unique features of the metaverse. Room owners can choose a token for their Room to be purchased in order to play a game. This feature is utilized for different web3 projects that have the ability to benefit from additional marketing of their platform with Qubix Infinity. There are different modes to play in the Rooms such as capturing a flag, defending a base, and different customized gaming modes. Rooms, Qubixes, weapons, and upgrades can be NFTs that are traded in the internal marketplace. Qubix Infinity integrates tokens of other whitelabel Web3 projects allowing users to play for the tokens they want. Here is a Gameplay demo.
The team behind Qubix Infinity are self-proclaimed crypto-enthusiasts. A fully decentralized git guarantees their product is secure, and that in dealing with the financial tools found in NFT marketplaces, has no holes in delivery. Securing code right from the source answers the main question that many Web3 protocols, startups, and users still ask: why rely on centralized services at any stage of the software supply chain? In addition, GOSH being among the fastest and most scalable layer-one blockchains in production means such products don’t need to compromise a thing when choosing the decentralized option that we are all so keen on.
Qubix Infinity is a metaverse with different modalities, myriads of different Rooms, and tons of contributors to their repository. Managing all this as a DAO naturally solves many contentious points any app operating in a decentralized space cannot have unanswered. GOSH is all about open collaboration, governance, and building consensus around code; we naturally offer projects the opportunity to manage multiple sources as a DAO, each with its own contributors. Qubix Infinity therefore looks to this repository governance model as a key way of building the community around their game.
Moreover, Qubix Infinity is now working on building DAOs and communities around user generated content such as ‘Room Builder,’ an in-game tool used by players to construct their rooms. The rather simple, and effective, baseline governance model proposed by GOSH can therefore be adapted to this end.
Once our Decentralized Limit Order Book Exchange is launched, Qubix Infinity plans to be presented on the KWPC live show to raise capital and grow their project within the GOSH ecosystem.
We will be sharing more interesting uses of GOSH with our readers. If you’d like to hear all about it, subscribe if you aren’t already.
